Hotel Kojan

The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. My husband and I are from the Untied States and have limited Japanese speaking skills. However, this was not a problem with their staff. They were still incredibly courteous and helpful. The breakfast that was served was so delicious, too! I'd like to start by taking about the location: this hotel is very conveniently located about 15 minutes walking distance from Dotonburi. My husband and I also decided to walk to Osaka Castle, which is about a 40 minute walk but WELL worth the walk as the local area is incredibly pleasing to look at. There are also several convenience stores and the train station all within walking distance. As for the room itself, it was very quaint and exactly what we needed for our two night stay. The room was very quiet, generally, with the exception of a few people in the halls, which was at no fault to the facility. The beds and pillows were firm, but surprisingly comfortable. The rooms come with complimentary toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and wash rags which we used as a trial at first but then ended up enjoying a lot. We would absolutely recommend Hotel Kojan and will be glad to stay again if we are in Osaka.

The hotel was very central and we had easy access to all the shops, restaurants and attractions Osaka has to offer. The hotel itself was simple, clean and comfortable, but thing that stood out the most was how amazing the staff were. We asked if we could book a taxi from the front desk as we were having difficulty booking through the apps and they were happy to accommodate. Unfortunately, the taxi company cancelled on us, and in a 5am panic, we called the reception to see if there was something they can do to help - the lady at the desk grabbed her keys and drove us to the airport herself! To say they went over and above to help us out would be an understatement.

The hotel is close to Shinsaibashi, it's mainly in Nagahoribashi. Very good proximity to the metro, with exit having elevator for convenience. The hotel is a quaint one in size, staff are very helpful. We had booked a total of 4 rooms as we travelled with family. Many convenience stores street level, a supermarket about 3 blocks away. The place had a cozy vibe. Amenities are basic, requests to clean are fulfilled. We would stay again should we go back to Osaka.

Location was really good. Price is very worth it. I booked for the single type, surprisingly the bedroom was quite big for solo traveller and it was the bestest thing about this hotel. The service are excellents! I delivered my luggage from tokyo and missed to write down my name and checkin date but staff kojan hotel was really helpful for received it first. Even my luggage was inside my room right before i arrived and checkin at the hotel. And i used their luggages deliver service to kansai airport with their helps too, its very smooth process. Drink water is available 24 hours so no need to worry. Super satisfied and recommended
